Kavishka Lochana is an award-winning new-generation Sri Lankan actor working across stage plays and short films. He has contributed to several local and international theatre productions over the years, including Gamanak Yan, Children of the Little Olive Park, Katawaha, and Dear Children Sincerely: Rwanda–Sri Lanka Collaboration.
Beyond the stage, Kavishka has worked extensively as an actor, painter, and contemporary dancer, bringing a multidisciplinary sensibility to the productions he is part of. His artistic passion is rooted in the textures of ordinary life. He carries a deep desire to recreate the human spirit on stage and on screen—drawing from the people around him, the training he commits to, and the worlds he observes closely.
For Kavishka, art remains a way of living: an ongoing practice of feeling, understanding, and translating humanity into performance.
