Rasiah Logananthan is an award-winning Sri Lankan theatre artist, playwright, and director with over two decades of experience in performance and cultural exchange. He is the Artistic Director of Theatre Mates Cultural Association and a former member of the Janakaraliya Theatre Group. Renowned for pioneering the concept of Neighborhood Theatre, Logananthan has brought performance into intimate community spaces, blending art with everyday life. His plays—spanning social realism, history, and human relationships—have been celebrated nationally and internationally, earning him multiple theatre awards and the prestigious Japanese BUNKA Award in 2017. Loganathan believes that theatre is a social dialogue that acts as the bridge between the artist, audience, and community.
