Visura Padeniya

Visura Padeniya is an actor and writer, currently serving as Personal Assistant to the Artistic Director of Stages Theatre Group. Over the past three years, he has appeared in five productions, playing roles as varied as a father in PING! and a spoiled child in The Children of the Little Olive Park. His debut writing collaboration, Katawaha, draws on his lived experience as a person who stammers, transforming personal struggle into collective reflection. Relatively new to the field, Visura approaches art as a way to uncover and share the complexities of human experience. He is committed to expanding his practice as a multi-disciplinary artist, deepening both his performance and writing.
